PRIVACY CHOICES

You control your workspace.

Most privacy controls are available directly in JobSearchOS Settings.

AI consent and retention

Open Settings → Privacy & AI to disable AI features, revoke consent for job insights or resume tailoring, change retention for generated insights, or export AI insight data.

Connected email

Open Settings → Email Updates to review or disconnect Gmail or Outlook. Disconnecting stops future mailbox access. JobSearchOS uses read-only permission and cannot send, delete, or archive email.

Notifications

Open Settings → Notifications to change delivery frequency, quiet hours, and fit thresholds. You can disable notification permission at any time in the Apple device’s system settings.

Export your information

Open Settings → Account to export supported workspace information as JSON or opportunity information as CSV. Original document files are not copied into the workspace export.

Delete records or your account

Individual opportunities, criteria, and other supported records can be removed in the app. To delete a signed-in JobSearchOS account and associated backend data, use the account-deletion control in Settings → Account. If you cannot access the app, email support@makealeft.app from the address associated with the account.
